hi new to the site,just wanted to share a few pics and pointers for any1 lookin at kustom paint.

heres a few pics of my kustom 51 i'm workin on.

first step take care of all the body work,then lay your primer when done

next set up your airbrush gun and compressor, i shoot @30 psi outta my iwata eclipse.next mix your paint 1:1 when shootin with a airbrush gun,1 part paint,1 part reducer
i always use house of kolor paint when i'm painting.

next were gonna lay down some solar gold for a base coat

then its kandy tangerine,over the gold base coat,then finally its top clear,


heres a simple way u can get your models lookin good, i have more pics and info if any1 is interested.i'll post more soon.

Keep them coming ,i myself love to learn step by step i wish more sites would invest time,kinda like uncle frank did on his web page ,how about motor building and chassis 101 for the manufactures in our hobby

thanks phatrat, apreciate the comment, i will try to post more how to's on kustom painting,right now i have 4 slot cars i'm putting together, all hard body dragsters, i will be sprayin the fallowing on different ones, kandy's,metal flake,marble effect,and some pearl paint jobs.
